Project Description

Championed by CSAW Core Faculty Fellow Dr. Richard Milligan of Georgia State University, CSAW’s Listening & Sharing Project (LSP) provides auxiliary services for listening to communities and stakeholders, and for sharing our work and insights with partners, communities, organizations, and other researchers. LSP links and builds upon work from other projects, partnerships, and networks developed by the Learning Ecosystem. It is available to assist with community engagement, but also to help design qualitative research tools, presentations, and general knowledge sharing.

Westside Greenspace

The Westside Greenspace Initiative, in collaboration with Community Fellow Ms. Genia Billingsley, aims to determine the value of greenspace and how it shapes life on the Westside through the collection of data and production of multimedia narratives.

Community Journalism

Community fellow Genia Billingsley and Canopy Atlanta and aim to bring awareness to environmental issues in under-served communities and watersheds through publishing community-led stories in media deserts.

Intergenerational EJ Academy (IEJA)

Community fellow Columbus Ward aims to expand environmental organizing and program development through community resource-sharing, education, and trainings. Some activities include tree planting, soil testing, surveys, and community health initiatives.

Spreading the Word of CSAW

CSAW has presented or attended over 20 conferences within the last year. The map to the right displays CSAW conference presentations in dark green and attendance only in light green.
